Carroll Museums, Inc. — the non-profit organization that serves as steward for the historic Carroll Mansion on Lombard Street and Phoenix Shot Tower on Fayette Street — featured music by Cadenza at the gala dinner that kicked off the “Phoenix Challenge” fund raising campaign for the restoration of the Phoenix Shot Tower. Cadenza’s program for that evening, Friday September 30th, included music that was familiar to the workers who poured shot in the Tower in the 1830s (when it was the tallest building in America), as well as twentieth century jazz favorites. The acoustics of the Phoenix Shot Tower, an open 13-story cone, made the concert a very exciting experience. Changes for the Third Season!

Cadenza begins a third season with some changes… a new soprano! We welcome Erin Riley who will be floating on top of our quartet with her beautiful soprano voice in the future. We’re working on a new schedule of concerts and will be posting them soon!
